Typical Real Estate commission is 5 or 6 percent.
Listing Agency pays half of agreed commission to Buyer's agent.
In San Francisco Bay area typical commission is usually 5 percent of the sales price, therefore Listing Agency and Buyer's Agency splits the commission 2.5 percent each.
When I list your property, You decide on the percentage of fees whether 2.5% or 3% to Buyer's Agency.
As an example; your savings on a $900,000 in sales price is $18,000 in comparison to 6 percent listing.
Higher the sold price higher the savings for you.

Depending on the particular broker you use, you may get a bundle of services comparable to that of the traditional broker, or you could get a scaled-down package with fees for additional services.
