An enthusiasm for all thing's real estate, a commitment to building lifelong relationships, expert negotiation skills and a lifelong passion for the places we call "home" are the hallmarks of Amy King's real estate career. Born and raised in rural Western New York (Caledonia) on what some city folks would call a farm (giant garden, dogs, chickens and guard geese that would chase you if you entered the yard), she spent the larger part of her childhood feeding chickens and gathering eggs.

A proud graduate of an HBCU, Amy holds a B.A. in English Literature and another in Mass Communications. Amy furthered her education with a hard-earned M.B.A. She began her love affair with houses while renovating homes in Western New York (Rochester) before transitioning into the world of Residential Real Estate Sales in North Carolina. Relocating to Durham 15 years ago, she has taken the knowledge learned in working in corporate America (IT and Desktop Support) to segue into owning her own real estate brokerage.
