WX promotes the advancement of women in real estate, enhances the public perception of the role of women within the industry and promotes the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and integrity in the field. WX Career Empowerment: Bold Moves: Taking Risks & Tackling New Challenges to Make Career Leaps Day 2 Option. WX Networking: Book Club Series - The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration.

The WX Scholars Program is designed to encourage and support bright and talented young women seeking a career in New York commercial real estate by providing special programming and access to WX's membership. Promising students in their final year of study in an undergraduate or graduate real estate program are named as scholars on an annual basis.

WX scholars are eligible to participate in the WX Mentoring Program, which is designed to promote their advancement in the commercial real estate profession. The two-year program offers formal mentoring events, including educational programming and networking, as well as valuable guidance and advice from the mentor.
Services
Held in November each year, this event attracts more than 500 women and men from across the commercial real estate industry to honor the WX Woman of the Year; the recipient is chosen for the breadth of her accomplishments and her long-standing commitment to the New York real estate industry.
Open to members, WX scholars and invited guests, speakers or panelists discuss timely and relevant real estate or related topics.
Held throughout the year, these events offer members an opportunity to network with each other.
The WX Scholars Program encourages and supports bright and talented young women pursuing careers in real estate and related professions in the New York metropolitan area.
Since the program was launched in 2004, scholarships have been awarded to 352 women at 18 schools totaling approximately $1.71 million in full scholarships.
WX Scholars benefit from education and informative programming and networking events, all of which help them develop productive relationships as they enter the workforce.
WX Mentoring Program: designed to match scholar recipients with WX mentors and provide them with specific programs and networking opportunities as they enter the workforce.
Is a duly qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
It works closely with WX, Inc. to support the WX Scholars Program, the WX Mentoring Program and partner with philanthropic organizations, including those supporting women's careers in real estate.
With the advice of the WX Philanthropy Committee, it makes targeted charitable donations consistent with the mission of WX and provides WX members opportunities to volunteer their time to these and other community service organizations.
Since 2015, WX has formed a partnership with Non-Traditional Employment for Women (NEW), a New York City-based non-profit founded in 1978.
