I had no idea what was in store for me when I went into work at Costco that morning. I was helping a customer set up her membership account, and she told me she was impressed with the quality of my services. She offered me the opportunity to interview with her at Bank of America for a position of a personal banker, where I would help clients to do everything from managing their finances to securing home loans.
I was incredibly flattered, and of course I accepted. I ended up being hired! I was fascinated by the home loan process. My boss eventually moved from Bank of America to Chase, and I followed her there as her unofficial apprentice.
