Are you considering becoming a real estate agent? Join us for our classes to earn your license, or to maintain the continuing education credits you need to keep your license. Public outreach courses are designed to educate those looking to buy or sell a home about the process. Each free course covers a different subject and lasts up to three hours.

The Georgia Academy of Real Estate was founded by Marlene (Price) Douglas, a real estate agent and broker in the Augusta area for over 25 years. Fueled by her passion for leaving a legacy of honesty and trustworthiness, she feels a commitment to her students and the clients that they will serve. My hope is that anyone who comes into my classroom or my office will leave with a more positive outlook than when they came in.

I want to foster a fresh perspective and renewed faith in yourself and your ability to succeed at all that you do. I am only successful if you are. YOU are the reason I come to work every day. I only reach my goals when you do, and nothing makes me happier than reaching my goals.

A. The state exam is administered by a private facility (Currently AMP/PSI) There are currently 4 locations: 2 in Atlanta, one in Savannah and one in Macon.
A. Fortunately, Georgia and South Carolina work very well together.
CRAM is a one or two-day review of all important topics throughout the 75-hour Georgia Sales Pre-License course.
This course follows after the Georgia Academy of Real Estate Pre License Course and is offered multiple times a year.
