Located just twenty-eight miles east of the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, La Habra has a population of just over 60,000, offering residents a much less hectic lifestyle, while still benefiting from the diversity and independent spirit that the LA area is known for.
Owning La Habra real estate means having access to Los Angeles fashion without the Los Angeles traffic.
Placentia, California is located in northern Orange County, approximately 12 miles from the Pacific Ocean and four miles from the entertainment mecca of Anaheim.
Home to approximately 50,500 people, Placentia is a quiet, bedroom community that focuses on strong public safety and neighborhood involvement.
Its convenient freeway access, fantastic weather, great opportunities for employment, and high-quality amenities make it an ideal place to call home.
Several shopping centers around town provide easy access to day-to-day necessities.
Indians inhabited the Yorba Linda area as many as 4,000 years ago.
Later, the Mexican government granted a 13,328-acre parcel to a man named Bernardo Yorba, whose family sold it to an investment company after his death.
The company named the land Yorba after Bernardo Yorba and Linda, which means "beautiful" in Spanish.
The land was then divided into farmland and ranches, and in 1911, the area was home to 35 people who established a school and a church and who had the use of a telephone company and benefit of a railroad.
