Neil Walter was founded in 1996 when two real estate aficionados put their heads together and combined their middle names.

Bruce Walter Valentine and Michael Neil Hickey had experience in the real estate industry and were both working at Trammell Crow Company. They loved the business model that was in play and wanted to bring the same efforts to shine light on the local potential of the Tacoma area. They started out as a small, local boutique real estate firm offering leasing, sales, property management and development services to clients throughout the South Sound Region.

Valentine Hickey didn't seem to be a fitting name for an up-and-coming real estate firm so that is why we became the flourishing Neil Walter Company that we are today.

To meet our commitment to quality tenant relations, our entire office is focused on servicing tenants in each of the properties we manage.

The only way to ensure that leases are being enforced is to complete a thorough lease review and lease abstract.
Each lease is reviewed with emphasis placed on tenant/owner options, common area maintenance expenses, billing procedures and the passthrough of expense stops or expense base years.
We input all lease information into a "tenant improvement" sheet for a quick lease summary, then roll all property tenant improvement sheets into a project summary for quick reference and understanding of immediate property performance.
