Formed as Margolias Realty Group in Johannesberg, South Africa in 1970, our firm's beginnings in the United States trace back to 1984 when Sol and partners acquired their first property in Atlanta.
Growth continued when Darren joined the firm and took over property management and leasing responsibilities.
In the early 1990's, Atlanta Leasing Associates was formed as the exclusive brokerage arm for Margolias Realty Group.
Its dedicated focus has been to lease up vacant space, perform due diligence on acquisitions and market properties for disposition.
As the Space Planner & Designer at Atlanta Leasing, Erin brings over 10 years of experience and knowledge to the group.
Growing up in Charleston, South Carolina, Erin is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Graphic Design, followed up with a degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta.
She practiced interior design at ASD (Associated Space Design), including projects such as The Glenn Hotel, Stats restaurant, Lobby restaurant, and the ASD Atlanta office.
After playing collegiate baseball at Berry College for two years, Drew earned his degree from Kennesaw State University in 2015.
Over the last five years, Drew has been in the world of enterprise technology sales.
Drew has negotiated deals with companies like Koch Brothers and other Fortune 500 companies in his tenure selling big data software.
He brings a background of customer service, cold calling and deal negotiation.
Some of his strong suits are being able to communicate with clients and provide them with a peace of mind during their leasing search.
Sol began his career in real estate in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1970.
After emigrating to Atlanta in 1984, he founded Margolias Realty Group, a conglomerate of several dozen partnerships and corporations.
The firm has been successful in identifying, acquiring and maximizing the value of office parks, warehouses, retail strip centers and apartment complexes.
Sol focuses on the big picture and utilizes his background as a CPA to screen potential acquisitions from a financial standpoint.
He screens as many as 70 properties for each one actually acquired.
