Services
I am an Oregonian - born in Corvallis, graduated high school in Salem, University grad in Eugene.
It is with my attention on this moment that I focus my intent on the needs and best interests of my clients.
Combining this with over 25 years of real estate and construction experience, I strive to provide the most ethical and highest level of service to each of our clients.
I am a Midwestern transplant, but I feel like Oregon has always been in my heart.
My educational background is in finance and healthcare, and I am both a Registered Nurse and a co-founder/co-owner of our real estate company.
A labelled map of Bend neighborhoods is available here.
Bend sits along the eastern edge of Oregon's Cascades mountain range with the Deschutes River as its central north-south artery.
Highway 97 parallels the Deschutes, dividing Bend into two two distinct quadrants: West Bend and East Bend.
Basically speaking, homes tend to be pricier on the West side.
At the same time, there are plenty of micro-neighborhoods with varying styles of construction, access to amenities, and views of the mountains.
The LOHR Real Estate story officially began about a decade ago, when Kip and Megan Lohr, after working for several well-established brokerages, decided to embark on their own adventure.
Their mission: to be a force of good in the local market, helping to stem the tide of bad information and questionable advice that had emerged in the wake of the financial crisis of 2008.
LOHR Real Estate's no-nonsense, client centered approach quickly caught on, aided by Kip's popular local radio program, Real Estate Revolution.
October is typically the time when Bend's market starts to undergo its usual seasonal slowdown, and this year was no exception.
But new listings dropped significantly more than pending sales (19% versus 8%), leading inventory to drop for the first time since the spring.
Basically, buyers are grabbing up the inventory that accumulated in Bend.
As real estate agents, our most important job is to help you navigate the market.
It isn't hyperbole to say that there's a minefield out there of often-conflicting information.
A labelled map of Eugene neighborhoods is available here.
Eugene is nestled in the southern reaches of Oregon's Willamette Valley, with the Coastal range to the west and Cascades range to the east.
The Willamette has long been renowned for its agriculture, producing a sizable portion of the world's hazelnuts and grass seed.
In recent years, a growing number of vineyards are making it a wine region to rival the Napa Valley's finest.
Eugene's neighborhoods can basically be divided into two quadrants: North Eugene and South Eugene.
