Services
Haugen Farm Realty was founded in 1983 by Don Haugen along with his two sons Jeff and Brad.
They first cut their teeth in the real estate industry through a separate partnership with Watne Realty in Minot.
They specifically focused on the farm real estate sales division within the company before splitting off and founding their own entrepreneurial venture.
In 1986, Jeff ended up seeking a new venture and went to work for Farm Credit Services of Minot and eventually Farm Credit Services of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

Appraisals in other counties will be considered on a case by case basis.
No, not typically.
It is basically expected that minerals are not included with a sale of land in Western North Dakota due to the common knowledge of the public that there is an abundance of oil in a few areas.
Reserving them is easy.
We include a mineral reservation in our purchase agreements, reserving our sellers what ever minerals that they own of record.
NOTE: This is not to say that the minerals themselves have no value, because they absolutely do.
However, if the sellers should wish them to be sold, they should be negotiated on as a separate asset from the land, in our opinion.
