The whole reason I've started this blog is so that I can help people get ready for either buying or selling real estate. There are a ton of top 10 lists available, but I feel that those lists generalize and leave a lot of questions unanswered. I work with buyers and sellers in San Diego Real Estate. No two transactions are ever the same and I've started this blog so that I can share what I've learned with you.

I am a licensed Realtor in the state of California, and while real estate laws and practices vary from state to state, I think that you will find many ideas and conventions to be universal. Are you in the beginning stages of buying or selling a home? Don't know how to start? Maybe you just want to bounce around a few ideas? Sign up for my newsletter, which will include blog articles that can help you answer some of your initial questions.

Or feel free to contact me if you would just like to talk and start figuring things out. Brian Jensen Before you purchase a home, it's important to learn about the various types of mortgages available to you.

A common question most home owners have is "Should I spend money to upgrade the interior of my home or the exterior?"
If you are like most of us and watch plenty of HGTV, you probably have a good idea of where this is going.
Let's jump straight into it and find out what specific scenario we are dealing with for this specific instance.
It's 2012, and you found a foreclosure that isn't anything like the stereotypical foreclosures of 2012.
If you can remember, a lot of foreclosures were stripped of their cabinets, appliances.

I'll try to not let my bias show, but no promises.
Fixed Rate AKA Conventional Loan, This is the most Vanilla loan on the market.
Vanilla is a good thing.
Owning a home is all about budgeting and planning.
A plain, vanilla, fixed rate mortgage lends itself nicely to budgeting.
Things like property taxes and insurance can still cause your monthly housing expenses to change, but this loan product is steady eddy.
Here are a few words from my past clients.
It's always makes me feel better about what I do when I go back and read these reviews.
Hopefully these words will provide you with some insight into what I'm like as a professional and as a person.
These reviews are lengthy, but length means detail.
Enjoy.
Liz and Riley from Encinitas, CA We worked with Brian in 2017 on the purchase of our first home.
Brian was extremely patient with us as we navigated the market and the various types of properties in our area.
La Mesa - Jewel of the hills!
Meaning 'The Table', La mesa hardly represents anything close to a table.
The flattest part of 'The table' is the quaint La Mesa Village Downtown area.
Surrounded by charming Real Estate, The Village is home to the town's biggest event, Oktoberfest.
Every Thursday during June thru August you can walk La Mesa's Classical Car show.
Pop in to a good eatery or watering hole with patio seating, and still take in the sights.
