Robin Tucker, REALTOR, joined his father in business in 1988, after working in public accounting.
Robin was born and raised locally, here in Cedar Rapids.
After graduation from high school, he left for Omaha to attend Creighton University.

A short recap again, Tommy Tucker Realty Co. was founded in 1958 by IL (Tommy) Tucker.
Over the course of 50 years, our company has provided services in both single-family and multi-family rental housing.
In 1969, Tucker acquired Professional Management Associates Co., which has served as Tucker's property management division over the years under Tommy.
Tucker has experience in leased housing, subsidized housing and conventional housing.
We have managed all aspects over the years of both single and multi-family housing: including vendors, leasing agents, maintenance, tenant-landlord relationships, board members, owners, accounting, financial, payroll, legal, audit, construction and repair over the last 50 years.
Over the course of 50 years, our company has provided services in both single-family and multi-family rental housing.

The Iowa Supreme Court struck down an Iowa Law relating to Landlords and Property Managers evicting their tenants.

Certified Mail to notify of eviction under Iowa code 562A.29A(2) - (Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Law) - has been deemed unconstitutional by the Iowa Supreme Court (War Eagle Village Apartments vs. Plummer).
Effective immediately landlords should follow other methods "reasonably calculated" to reach the intended recipients.

Note: The law only applies to transfers of property containing one to four dwelling units, and there are many types of properties exempt from inspection, most of the exemptions are similar to the exemptions found in the seller disclosure requirements.
